Poor Nila. If she ate a lot of fuzz, I bet it's upsetting her stomach. Withhold food for tonight, then try to feed her in the morning. If she vomits, refuses to eat the food, or becomes very lethargic, take her into a vet right away.

Hi and thanks for using Boop by Petco! Sorry to hear about Laila. I always tell clients that if abnormal signs persist, worsen, or other signs develop they need to have their pets assessed right away. If you cannot get her seen right away and the vomiting continues, pull the food and water up just for tonight. Fasting her shouldn't hurt her and it will give her stomach/intestinal tract a slight break. But, if you offer her a little water in the morning and the vomiting returns, you should have her evaluated right away. Just offer a small amount of water in the morning. If she drinks (less than 1/2 cup) and is able to hold the water down for 1 hour, go ahead and give her a small meal of her regular food. Again, if she vomits get her evaluated immediately. Vomiting has many causes including intestinal worms, inflammation, infection, dietary problems (including dietary indiscretion or eating things pets are not supposed to eat, food sensitivities/allergies), ingestion of foreign

Throwing up can be caused by a food sensitivity, dietary indiscretion, intestinal parasites, an intestinal blockage, bacterial infection, viral infection, the weather, food change, stress, etc.  I would fast him for 24 hours and then put him on bland food for two days, such as boiled white rice and boiled white boneless chicken meat, fed in small quantities over several feeds and then transition back to regular food slowly over a few days. If this does not clear up the vomiting or if the vomiting increases, or if your dog stays lethargic, he needs to see a veterinarian for an exam as there may be something more serious such as an infection going on.

However, if the fudge contained sufficient quantities of chocolate, this could lead to other problems, such as heart arrhythmias, seizures, tremors, or even death in severe cases. If the fudge contained chocolate, the potential problems can vary based on the type of chocolate, amount of chocolate in the recipe, and Zoe's 60 pound body weight. I recommend taking a look at the fudge recipe to obtain this information, and then feel free to post another question, request a consultation, or call the ASPCA animal poison control center ((888) 426-4435). Poor girl. Her symptoms indicate a possible GI (gastrointestinal) upset or could indicate another underlying condition such as liver disease, kidney disease, or even pancreatitis. I would stop giving the bread and pasta, since these could very well be the culprit. If she continues to vomit even after stopping this, then its best to get Kes seen by your vet for some testing to help determine the underlying cause for her periodic vomiting episodes. My friend has found a abandoned Boxer breed female.. she looks weak and is vomiting if any solid food is feed. What shall we do?
This dog is in serious need of a vet exam. Really, she looks awful. Poor thing. Please get her to a vet for an exam. The vet can tell you what steps to take to get her back to health after the exam has been done. I am very concerned about the vomiting and her weight.

My boxer is 11 and is not eating.. Periodically will vomit a foam substance..Is there some kind of substance I should feed him
Poor Johnny! I would have him seen by a vet as soon as possible. In an 11 year old Boxer, his anorexia and vomiting could be caused by something serious such as a systemic infection, kidney failure, cardiac disease, liver disease, or even cancer. I recommend having a physical exam, geriatric blood panel, urinalysis, and x-rays done on Johnny to diagnose what is causing his symptoms. Once a cause is found, the vet can discuss any possible treatment options.

My boxer is pacing, vomiting foam and eating grass. He did this two days ago, stopped and has started again.
Poor Oscar sounds like he isn't feeling well at all lately! He could have a severe GI illness, may have eaten something rotten, could have a foreign body, or could have pancreatitis. It is concerning that he was vomiting before, stopped, and now started again. I'm also concerned that you describe him as pacing because that can be a sign of bloat. Boxers have deep chests and are very prone to bloat, which is fatal without treatment. Given that these symptoms have reappeared and he is prone to bloat, the best thing to do is take him into a vet right away. The vet can diagnose what is causing his symptoms and the best way to treat him. Please take him into an ER vet clinic; if there isn't one in your area, there will be a vet on call for emergencies. The information to reach that vet is found on a clinic's answering machine or website.

My cat got a hold of a fuzzy sock and ate some of the fuzz. Almost immediately she threw up clear fluid and the fuzz. But she's barely eating now?
Likely Bean is experiencing some stomach upset eating the fuzz and vomiting. I recommend withholding food for 12-24 hours, then feeding a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) in small amounts several times a day for a couple of days. Then slowly add back in her normal diet. If the vomiting continues in the absence of food, he vomits the bland diet, develops diarrhea, stops drinking water, starts vomiting water, or becomes very lethargic, she will need to see a vet right away.

I would recommend taking her to a vet for evaluating. If she is vomiting and lethargic that could indicate something serious. Boxers can be a breed l own to bloat or get GDV.
