My picky cat won't eat new food or take medicine. Is it enough?

Hi, my cat is super picky with food and my vet told me not to feed her her old food. I got her science diet and royal canin and for the whole day she only eat one can of science diet and those cans are tiny. Will she be ok? I also tried putting her pills in the food and she avoided it completely so I’ve not been able to give her her medicine consistently
