1 of 2 goldfish has been upside down and struggling..been doing this off n on for 4 mos but has been consistently upside down for 2 days now..was advised to not feed for 3 days...this has worked before but not now..I soak the flakes before feeding .. did a water change this morning..I don't see anything on his skin..have had him for 3 years using same wellwater, no chlorine..other fish seems fine..What can I do? You can fast him for 3 days, but then feed bits of cooked and shelled green peas. This may help if Clyde is constipated. If the peas don't help, consider a broad spectrum dewormer or broad spectrum antibiotic. You can find both in the aquarium section of the local Petco. Follow label directions carefully and remove the carbon filter insert during treatment if indicated.
