Pet's info: Cat | Aegean | Male | neutered
My 10 month old Male, neutered kitten has been vomiting. I thought it was because he was eating too fast because it lessens when I monitor his food intake. But today I noticed he also has diarrhea. Otherwise acting totally normal, no fever. We have other cats with no symptoms. Vomit is mostly food, not foamy. Should I wait or take him to the vet?

I would call your vet and ask them if he should be seen. Since he is behaving normally otherwise, it may not be necessary to take him in, they may be willing to have you bring in a fecal sample for analysis, or they may want to see him. It may be that he is still eating too quickly, to combat this you can out a glass egg, a few medium-sized river rocks or a few glass pebbles in with his kibble to make him slow down, just make sure that anything you out in his dish is too big for him to swallow. You can also buy a slow feeder or a puzzle feeder to make him slow down and keep him from regurgitating after he eats. If he continues with the vomiting and diarrhea, loses his appetite, develops a fever or any other symptoms, get him in to your vet right away.
