My dog's rash is better. Should I still treat it or just observe?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Chihuahua | Male | unneutered | 2 years and 7 months old | 13 lbs

*From this post last night* I looked at his rash this morning (6:35am) and it looks less red than last night (11:30pm), do I still wait 24hrs to look better or now should I just make sure that it doesn’t get worse?

If it does not seem to bothering him that much you can try using this antimicrobial spray (link below) on the rash for a week or so. If after treating it, it does not look better then you should take him to your vet for an exam. ( https://www.petco.com/shop/en/petcostore/product/vetericyn-plus-wound-and-skin-care-for-dogs )
