Why is my cat skinny, eating, but losing weight with red eyes?

My cat has recently started to loose weight last and is super skinny but still eats and drinks water daily. And is now having red color by his eyes. Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Male | neutered

It's very serious that Diesel is losing weight and super skinny despite eating. This can be caused by something serious like diabetes, heart disease, kidney disease, hyperthyroidism, liver disease, or even cancer. I'd have him seen by a vet today.
