Why does my 1-year-old dog pee while sleeping, even without a UTI?

Hi hoping we can get some advice. Our female shih tzu/bichon is just over 1 year old and ever since we got her she pees while she’s asleep. We have 2 other dogs and we don’t have any potty training issues or house accidents, but we can’t seem to shake her out of it. Some nights were lucky but 95% of our days are washing sheets/dog bed. I have never heard or seen of a dog do this before. We read online and are only getting answers for a UTI but vet confirmed not the case. Were desperate to fix. Pet's info: Dog | Shih Tzu | Female | 1 year and 1 month old | 8 lbs

That is very unusual for a young dog. I recommend to have her referred to a specialist to check for a neurological abnormality or ectopic ureters. There may be treatment but it depends upon the cause. I hope this helps.
