Brands I recommend include Royal Canin, Hill's Science Diet, Purina Pro Plan, and Iams (Eukanuba). I recommend these brands because they meet AAFCO feeding standards, run their own food trials, and have veterinary nutritionists on staff. They are the only four brands to have these things.

Brands of food I recommend include Royal Canin, Hill's Science Diet, Purina ProPlan, and Iams. Have a question on what dog dry food you would recommend? Wellness core ? Wellness complete health ? Blue wilderness high protein grain free ? Taste of the wild ?
Personally I recommend Purina Pro Plan, Royal Canin, or Hills Science Diet. I personally feed my dogs Purina Pro Plan. The reason for choosing these foods over other brands are numerous, including the fact that these companies have actual board certified veterinary nutritionists on staff formulating their diets, these companies are the only ones that do actual studies/feeding trials with their diets to ensure that they do provide adequate and optimal nutrition (while all diets that are sold in stores are requierd to meet certain nutritional requirements within the diet, it does not mean the diets are safe and effective, just that they contain the correct amount of protein, etc.), and these companies do extensive quality control/safety screening of their foods. Basically they spend much more of their money on ensuring their food is the best for a dog versus spending their money on extensive marketing to convince pet owners that their food is best!

This answer will vary greatly based on the individual vet preference. I have always fed my dogs Purina ProPlan, because I like the options based on my individual dogs. They also use high-quality ingredients, and quality control is excellent. The specific variation of ProPlan depends on the individual pet, their age, and their activity level. Royal Canin is one of my top choices! It meets AAFCO standards, runs their own feeding trials, and have veterinary nutritionists on staff. It's one of only four brands that have all this, the others are Hill's Science Diet, Purina ProPlan, and Iams. I feed my dogs Iams. I think you have Chloe on an excellent food and I would not change it! Keep up the good work :-)

I personally like Royal Canin, Hill's Science diet, Purina ProPlan, and Iams. I have fed Royal Canin and Iams to my pets (cats and dogs), and have found them to be excellent food for them. They will all have a giant breed formula. Acana and Orijen are good brands, but they are quite expensive.
