Is it safe for my 1-month-old puppy to sunbathe in hot weather?

Do I have to keep nanga for sun bathing. She is 31 days

Nanga can lay in the sun, but it's best that's done through a window indoors in the air conditioning. She should not get too hot, or that will cause heat stroke. Do not let her do this outside as I know it's extremely hot in Australia at the moment.

Hi, thanks for using Boop by Petco! They could jut be more vocal during the day because of all the activity. I would try to keep them indoors where there is air conditioning and fans. If they have to be outdoors then they should be in the shade and not ever in the direct sun. The puppies should not get too hot as that is life threatening, so see what you can do to the environment to change the ambient temperature. I wouldn't recommend the ambient temperature higher than 80 F. I wish you the very best!

Is it safe to use a uv reptile heat lamp for newborn puppies??
You have to be EXTREMELY careful using any external heat source on puppies. Since they can’t move away from the heat if it’s too hot and they can’t regulate their body temperature well at this age it can be deadly. Is the mother not doing a good job? Are they housed outside? Please post again with more information as to why you think you need the extra heat. Then we can help more.

Hiie.i am from india. In which state i live temperature always goes to 45°c in summers.can beagle survive in that temperature. I am worried about. If no yhan what can i do for him to make him comfortable.
You will need to make sure Shiro is kept indoors during the day in the air conditioning or with a fan. Do not let him stay outside. Make sure he always has cool water to drink. Walk him early in the morning and later in the evening when it's cooler. I hope this helps!

My dog just had puppies yesterday and I want to know is it safe to turn on the air conditioner on low for mom and pups
Puppies are prone to getting cold, so I would only do this if it seems that it's too hot in their environment. You can start with a low amount of AC if needed and turn it up if they tolerate it well. You will know the puppies are too cold if they forming a tight huddle next to or under mom. If they are more spread out, then this would indicate that they are very warm. Stela's puppies have 21 days, and they are in a deep room which only light is exposed to the room during the day. Is that bad for them? Sould they be exposed to sun everyday?. Please, i want to know if there is any effect.
Your dog should be in a place where there is adequate daylight during the day and dark during the night. There is no need for direct sunlight. Eventually, when they walk around and play, it would be good if they had a garden to play with each other, or an outside enclosure.

As long as its placed at a distance that prevents them from potentially bumping into it and burning themselves, then yes, you can. However, its often not needed, especially in the summer.,as long as momma dog is right there are they are in a protected area with bedding/blankets/and snuggling together.

Is it ok for dog to have sunlight in winters in 16 degree Celsius ? He sits with me in subdlight he drink water and enjoying but my question is does sunlight affect dog and his any part or organ of body or makes life span short or something like that
Just like in humans, sunlight is really good for dogs overall health and well-being. You need to watch for signs of sunburn in light/thin coated dogs, and in your temperature you need to watch for signs of frostbite and hypothermia, but the sun is excellent for you and your pup!

Pixie should be fine, the area needs to be warm for her puppies. They have to kept at a higher temperature because they can't regulate their own temperature. Keep a supply of cool water for her at all times to help cool her down as needed. I hope this helps!

Is my dog in any danger, cancer wise, just by laying out in the sun for a little while?
Excessive sun exposure can certainly be damaging to the cells in the skin in both humans and animals. Dogs can be predisposed to melanoma, hemangiomas and certain auto-immune disorders of the skin. It is recommended to use sunscreen lotion / spray that is intended for use in animals that will be in excessive amounts of sun. Epi Pet has a product for sun protection that is a lotion which can be applied to the areas of the animal where there is less hair (nose, abdomen, etc.). I hope this helps!
