My cat is constipated and not pooping. What home remedies work?

Hello, recently my cat is about a year in a half, she was born with a birth defect in the leg ( bone was formed differently) which causes her to drag her leg. However, recently she has been in pain. Mostly in the private areas. She has been fixed. It has caused her to not want to move a lot and be very stiff. She is also hiding, not eating as much but when she gets the chance she will eat a lot. She rarely poops either. We took her to the vet and they said it might be constipation. Also when the

I'm sorry but can you please post again with some photos of the leg? It is very difficult for us to give you any advice if we can't see what you are referring to. Thank you! You can always try giving her some canned pumpkin to help with possible constipation. Use pure pumpkin (not pie filling). Give 1/8 cup twice a day for a dog her size.     Sorry, I had a typo. I meant for a "cat" her size. If she won't eat the pumpkin you can also try human Miralax powder at 1/8 teaspoon twice a day mixed in a small amount of canned food. ( https://www.walmart.com/ip/MiraLAX-Polyethylene-Glycol-3350-Powder-Laxative-8-3-Oz-14-Dose/10419767 )
