Pet's info: Cat | American Shorthair | Male | neutered | 1 year and 6 months old | 15 lbs
My cat is showing signs of uti. He’s thrown up twice. Straining to pee. Pushing constantly to the point where his dripping blood from his penis. He’s had a uti before and after he got treated the first time he still would lick excessively after he would use the litter box and be vocal. What can I do in the mean time before his appointment to make sure hes comfortable and okay? His stomach isn’t tight like the first time still squishy. Is this serious??

This is absolutely an emergency. It sounds like he has a urinary obstruction and not just a UTI. Please take him to a vet immediately! Do not give him any medications at home. ( https://veterinarypartner.vin.com/default.aspx?pid=19239&id=6465677 )
