Why is my cat suddenly aggressive and attacking my family so much?

My cat has been going pshyco attacking my family so bad that it has resulted in multiple trips to the vet. It comes on suddenly, he’s happy then all of a sudden starts growling and he turns lion like. We took him to the vet and they blamed us because he warned us with the growls. So we don’t know what to do can I get some advice? Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Longhair | Male | unneutered | 4 years and 6 months old | 13 lbs

I suggest you try some Feliway diffusers in your house and do some environmental enrichment for him. Neutering would also help.
