My 5 month old puppy is vomiting and a little diaherra. Weak, won't eat anything. She'll only drink water when I use a syringe. No temperature

Xena's symptoms are a medical emergency and she has to see a vet now. Please take her into an ER vet clinic; if there isn't one in your area, there will be a vet on call for emergencies. The information to reach that vet is found on a clinic's answering machine or website.

Hi there and thank you for using pet coach to address your concern. If Xena is still suffering from extreme lethargy and abdominal pain, I would recommend having a veterinarian examine her sooner rather than later. If she ate something such as a toy or other foreign object it could be causing a foreign body obstruction in her intestinal tract. This can become quite serious if not addressed and even fatal. I would recommend having abdominal x-rays taken to see whether or not she has anything abnormal in her abdomen. I would also recommend having her blood tested to see if there are any abnormalities as well. If she has been vomiting and lethargic she may also be dehydrated and may need fluids to help hydrate her and your vet can provide that treatment. I hope this helps and I hope that Xena improves quickly. Please let me know if you have any further questions or concerns and I would be more than happy to help you further.

Hi there and thanks for posting on Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! I am sorry to hear Xena isn't feeling well lately. There are many medical causes for the symptoms she is experiencing. She may indeed be in heat which often presents with vuvla swelling and vaginal discharge which can be straw, pink tinged, or red colored. Vomiting, lethargy, shivering, and not eating however, are not typical signs associated with being in heat and may be symptoms of something a little more serious. My recommendation would be for Xena to see a veterinarian very soon so she can be diagnosed and appropriately treated. If she is vomiting today, withhold food from her tonight (she can have water) and if she goes the night without vomiting, you can reintroduce a small amount of her normal food tomorrow morning. I hope this helps and I hope she can see a veterinarian very soon!
