This is a medical emergency and he has to see a vet now. Without seeing him in person, I can't say what is causing his symptoms so I can't say what medications he needs. I can say he is quite sick, and this cannot be treated at home. Please take him into a vet immediately.

If he is behaving normally otherwise, you can try withholding food for 12-24 hours. Allow small amounts of water or unflavored PediaLyte during the fast. Resume feeding a bland diet in small, frequent amounts, Begin with 1 tablespoon every hour and gradually increase the amount if there is no vomiting. Feed bland until vomiting has ceased for 48 hours before transitioning slowly to the regular diet. Symptoms that should be addressed by your veterinarian include lethargy, persistent vomiting, diarrhea, loss of appetite or abdominal pain. There are no OTC medications you can give at home to treat vomiting in cats.

Poor Moonlight! That is a while for a cat to be vomiting, and you are correct that he could have eaten something causing the vomiting. He could also have a foreign body, a GI illness, or pancreatitis. When a cat has been vomiting for more than 24-48 hours, it's time to see a vet. The vet can diagnose what is causing his vomiting and how best to treat it. I would take him into one asap. Good luck, I hope this helps!

It sounds as Shakespeare is suffering from a gastrointestinal condition, possibly an infection. it could also be due to ingestion of a foreign body material. i would recommend taking him to the vet the first chance you get, he will need to be checked first, if the vet thinks it's a simple gastrointestinal infection he will need an anti vomiting injection, antibiotics and a special food for a few days in order to get better.
