My cat is unbalanced and blind after surgery. What should I do?

They can also have other temporary peripheral nerve defects like horner's (small pupil, elevated 3rd eyelid), facial nerve paralysis, etc. I'd expect the unbalanced symptoms to resolve but it may take time. Hello. I cannot imagine what anesthesia was used on poor Daaboul that after 4 days he is still having problems. You need to return to your veterinarian to see about what was done to affect your kitty so badly, & they should immediately take steps to return him back to health. These symptoms suggest that Stidi hs problems with the middle ear (infection, inflammation, polyp, tumour) or it may be related to brain disfunction (blood clot within the brain, ruptured vessel in the brain, tumor). Please, take Stidi to your local vets as soon as possible. If the symptoms are due to middle ear problem, he will need a course of strong anti-inflammatory medications and possibly antibiotics to get better.

This sounds like she may have retinal detachment which can be a result of uncontrolled high blood pressure. The blindness may be permanent. I would absolutely take her in right away since she has other symptoms also and the sooner she gets treatment the more likely she will be able to recover. Regardless, it is clear she is not doing well. She needs a thorough visit with a vet to figure out what’s wrong and how to make it better. There could be something medical going on with Mocha such as polyps in the ear or an ear infection. Either can affect a cat's balance. I would have him seen by a vet first thing in the morning. Best of luck.
