Why is my rabbit's urine orange? Is it a diet issue or normal?

Newfoundland Lop Bunny has been peeing and orange color.

This discolored urine is usually due to a dietary issue - too much calcium. I do not know what you are feeding but you need to be feeding mostly hay and only a small amount of rabbit pellets. A premium brand like Oxbow is best. ( https://www.petco.com/shop/en/petcostore/product/oxbow-essentials-adult-rabbit-food ) ( https://www.petco.com/shop/en/petcostore/product/oxbow-14-oz-simple-reward-timothy-treat ) Occasionally orange urine can be normal like if you are feeding a lot of carrots or other foods with orange pigments (beta carotenes). If you are doing this, I suggest you stop feeding those items for a week or so and see if the urine goes back to normal.
