My hamster has a small scrape on back, acting normal. What should I do?

Pet's info: Small Animal | Hamster | Male | unneutered | 1 year old | 2 lbs

My hamster has a small scrape on his back. Their is no swelling and no fur loss. He is acting normal and continues to eat drink and play. There is no bump where it is, and no bleeding. I am wondering what it is, what I can do, and if it is serious.

It could be Glacier injured himself in his cage. I would gently clean his wound with warm water and antiseptic soap. Keep the wound clean and dry, and monitor it for signs of infection. If you see redness, swelling, warmth to the touch, or pus, then it is infected and he will need to see the vet for antibiotics to treat it.
