Hey so I have an 8 year old jack Russell terrier mix, about a month ago I noticed he has a small lump under his front left armpit, on chest. It doesnt seem to bother him. I came home today and my roommates told me he is having white BMs. He's been straining to have a BM for awhile now as well

Oh no, that's not good. In a dog Tardis's age, any lump could be malignant. It's also very worrying that he is having white BMs. This can be a sign that your dog is at risk for obstipation, which is an inability to evacuate their bowels without outside help. I'd take him into a vet today.
