Why is my cat meowing constantly, peeing, and still acting in heat?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Siamese | Female | 10 months and 20 days old

My cat has been meowing for about a month, non-stop. It's every morning, afternoon, and evening. She was in heat about a whole month ago, by now, I'm sure that's over. However, she stills licks herself and cries. She's also urinating on curtains, which is terrible. I'm actually started to get worried that something is wrong though.

Hi there. Female cats stay in heat almost all the time if they aren't pregnant - so if she was in heat a month ago, she's likely back in heat again now. I would recommend having her spayed to resolve this problem. :)
