Pet's info: Cat | American Shorthair | Female | spayed | 4 years and 7 months old | 16 lbs
I posted a question yesterday about KitKats scratches. The vet said they look infected because it was wet around it. When actually I put water on her fur so it would lay down and be out of the way, so I could get a good view of the scratches to take a picture. Knowing that the area was dry before I took the pictures. What should I do about the 4 big scratches.

I would gently clean KitKat's wounds with warm water and antiseptic soap. To keep her from licking at it, you can put an Ecollar on her. You can get one at a pet store or make one at home. Keep the wounds clean and dry, and monitor them for signs of infection. If you see redness, swelling, warmth to the touch, or pus, then they are infected and she will need to see the vet for antibiotics to treat it.
