5 months ago my 17 year old female cat past away at the vets my 13 year male cat has been very depressed since he wont leave the house by himself and become a picky eater and walks around calling out to her then sulking when he cant find her . They had been together since he was 3 weeks old ,what I'd like to know will he snap out of it or will he continue to mourn her

Five months is a long time to mourn the loss of a companion, and that tells me this is something more serious than mourning. Cats do not mourn this long. Have Ebbie seen by a vet, I'm concerned he may be sick.
