Can I give my dog CBD oil with Galliprant and Cefpoxime safely?

Pet's info: Dog | Coton de Tulear | Female | spayed | 12 years and 11 months old | 9.8 lbs

I forgot to mention I also give my pet Galliprant. Can CBD oil Tincture 600 mg (5 to 10 drops) be given together with Cefpoxime 1/4 of 100 mg daily? I usually give my 9.9 lb pet CBD oil for arthritis and hurt patella 2 to 3 times daily. She has swollen paws and needs to take the antibiotic Cefpoxime.

As of yet, we have very little research on CBD oil in veterinary patients, so we cannot make any recommendations one way or the other about this product - we do not know what an appropriate dose might be, and if there are any potential health concerns or drug interactions in dogs. I would not give to Sofia while she is on these medications.

So I cannot say if it is safe to give Canyon the CBD oil along with his pain medications. Because of that, I do not recommend it.

Can I give Sofia (9-10Ib dog) cefpodoxime 1/4 of 100 mg & galliprant 1/2 of 20 mg. on the same day? Is galliprant be given on full or empty stomach?
These medications can certainly be given on the same day. No concerns for drug interactions here whatsoever. Please also continue to monitor for any signs of GI upset however from the medications themselves, which includes vomiting, diarrhea or decreased appetite and notify your vet immediately if seen. Only a small percentage of pets will have an adverse reaction to these medications. Both medications should be gien after a small meal. Thank you for submitting your question regarding Meadow. Unfortunately, there is no current research to know if this will be safe or not. Several veterinary schools are actively studying CBD, but at this time there are no recommendations for veterinarians to give pet owners.

You do need to have Zoe seen by a vet to see if there is anything that can be given to her to make her more comfortable. If paying for a vet is an issue, you can see if your vet accepts payment plans, if there is a low cost clinic in your area, or you can apply for Care Credit online. There is also an organization called Red Rover that give grants for treatment of sick animals, and you can see if you qualify for one of their grants. Best Friends also has a list of resources that offer financial assistance on their website. I'd also see if you can borrow money from family and friends. http://www.humanesociety.org/

Hello my dog drags his leg slightly due to the nerves in his spine he takes prescription pain killers daily. But I have been researching cbd oil and slot of people are giving it there pets for arthritis. Can you tell me if it's safe?
Thanks for using Boop by Petco! That is the main issue, not knowing how safe it is. In my experience the patients that I have that have used it have tolerated it well so probably though there is literature or study looking at the safety of using CBD oil in dogs. Good luck!
