Why is my Miniature Poodle lethargic, not eating, and can't walk?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Miniature Poodle | Female | unspayed | 8 lbs

My Miniature poodle seems very lethargic, won’t eat, can’t walk, and Is just laying down. Her feet also seem to be cold along with her face. Im not sure exactly how old she is because I got her as a stray dog but I have had her for about 6 years. She has all her shots and heartworm prevention. I need help understanding what could possibly be wrong with her. I can not take her to the closest emergency vet clinic I have here because I have only had very bad experiences there with another pet.

Kika sounds extremely bad off. Without seeing her in person, I cannot say what is going on but I can say she is sick enough to need to see a vet now. I'm sorry you had a bad experience with another pet, but there may be a different vet on tonight. For her sake, please take her into the ER vet.
