No, that is not possible. If Suzi is in heat, then she isn't pregnant. She may have been having a false pregnancy, which is when a cat shows the signs of being pregnant without actually being pregnant.

Ok, the question got confusing at the end so I'm sorry if I don't fully answer you. The answer is no, she cannot be pregnant and in heat at the same time. It is impossible. I suggest you have her spayed. It is a bit more risky of a surgery to spay them while pregnant or in-heat but I have done it thousands of times with no issues. If you are planning on spaying her, then I suggest you do so now.

No they cannot be pregnant and in heat at the same time. I really hope you don't have a pregnant 4 month old cat. Most cats do no go into heat until they re 6 months or older. Cats should not be bred until they are at least 18 months old. If you are not planning on breeding her I suggest you have her spayed as soon as possible.

Great question! If Luna is currently mating, then no she is not pregnant. Cats will only mate when they are in heat. It could be that she has recently gained weight, and that is causing her belly to get bigger. There is a rare condition in cats called a false pregnancy, which is where a cat shows signs of being pregnant without being pregnant, but again as I said that is rare in cats. It could be a remote possibility however. Given that she is now mating again, I would say she isn't pregnant. I hope this helps!

Pregnant cats do not go into heat. I would recommend having her re-evaluated by the vet to make sure she is pregnant and that she isn't having a false pregnancy or a pyometra (a potentially life-threatening infection of the uterus). Rough play shouldn't affect unborn kittens. They are well-protected in there!

Purry should be 42 days pregnant now. Sometimes it is possible that a cat does come into heat during pregnancy. If you want to know whether she is still pregnant, take her to your vet for an x ray or an utrasound. Kittens should be visible now and the vet can also count them, so you know how many to expect. It will also show her empty if she is not pregnant.

When the days become shorter as you head into winter, cats may not go into heat as often. They tend to cycle more often during times when the days are longer, such as spring and summer. Cats are seasonal breeders, and this may be why she hasn't gone into heat again. Best of luck.

While some discharge may be normal during pregnancy, bleeding or other discharge from the vaginal region that is discolored may indicate an infection or other complication to pregnancy which should be addressed by your vet. As cats are induced ovulators, it may also be that she was not bred successfully during her previous heat and come back into heat. Cats will continued to cycle in and out of heat while "in season" and so she may be ready to be bred again. However, it is still a good idea to schedule a veterinary appointment to make sure there are not any problems or health issues that are preventing a successful breeding. The gestation period is 63 days, so it is still relatively early. I would expect to see signs of pregnancy no earlier than 4 weeks, and certainly I wouldn't attempt a pregnancy scan until at least 4 weeks as it is too difficult to distinguish kittens at earlier stages. So if she has not come into heat again she could certainly be pregnant, I would be patient for another week or two and if there is still no signs or she hasn't come back to heat take her into a vet for an ultrasound scan then you will know for sure. It is possible but relatively rare that she is in a false pregnancy.
