Dog keeps throwing up food, not eating. When should I see a vet?

Pet's info: Dog | Pit Bull Terrier | Male | neutered | 130 lbs

My dog has thrown up sense yesterday and it was a total of 7 times all together. He also has a dry nose and is not eating not sure about drinking. Also it was a chunky throw up witch u could tell it was still dog food. My other dog is whining laying next to him. I'm worried

I'm worried about Gucci too. The dry nose is not an issue, it's not a sign of illness, but the vomiting, not eating, and possibly not drinking is an issue. I think it's best you take him into a vet now.

The wet nose isn't a problem, but it is a concern that Rockie isn't eating and vomiting whenever he is drink gin water. He also sounds lethargic. He could have a severe GI illness, may have eaten something rotten, could have a foreign body, or could have pancreatitis. His symptoms indicate he is quite sick, and he needs to see a vet now. My dog is about 14 or 15 weeks old and has not been eating properly and has had diarrhea for two days now any clue what’s wrong
It sounds as Gucci is suffering from a gastrointestinal condition, possibly an infection. it could also be due to ingestion of a foreign body material. i would recommend taking him to the vet the first chance you get, he will need to be checked first, if the vet thinks it's a simple gastrointestinal infection he will need an anti nausea injection, antibiotics and a special food for a few days in order to get better.

Dog started vomiting yesterday and has so far vomitted four times over the course of the day into the night. He hasn't eaten in 24 hours. Has only drank a little water. Does not have worms and has all current shots. Age 14. Shitzu terrior mix. Vomit
occasional vomiting is common but if it persists longer than 72hours, he refuses food for more than 48hours or refuses to drink/vomits water back p after drinking at any stage he should be seen by your vet as soon as possible. Blood and urine tests should be considered to rule out medical cases if there has been recent weight loss or increasing thirst

If he hasn't been eating in two days it is highly abnormal, i would not recommend waiting, he needs to see a vet as soon as possible, it may be an infection or some other condition that requires to be treated with medications.

My dog hasn't ate in the past 2 days. His nose is dry and warm, he has no energy to do anything, he pukes a little.
Your dog should be seen by your veterinarian. Inappetence for this long, accompanied by lethargy is a cause for concern. Your pet may have eaten something he shouldn't have which has upset his stomach, he might have swallowed something, for example, part of a chew toy, that has gotten caught and is causing a blockage somewhere in his gastrointestinal tract. He could be sore from a hidden injury you are unaware of, he could have been exposed to some sort of toxin or irritant in his environment or this could be early signs of another condition or disease process. If he isn't showing any specific symptoms, I would still get him in to see your vet if he hasn't improved significantly. Your vet can do an exam, blood work and possibly x-rays to determine the cause of the illness and suggest an effective treatment plan.

My dog is quite shaky and isn't eating nor drinking water. He seems really sad and won't come if I call him. His nose is dry and warm. He is only 3 1/2 months.
I'm quite concerned that Whitey is shaking, and won't eat or drink. I'm not so concerned about his nose being dry and warm, as that isn't a sign of illness in dogs. Given his young age and his current symptoms, I think it's best he sees a vet immediately. Please take him into one now.

My dog just threw up and he is just sitting on the couch now, he’s not responsive to me calling him and he won’t drink any water. I’m not sure what tha best course of action is from here, can you please help?
Vomiting can be a sign of a number of different problems ranging from minor issues like eating a non-food item from the yard to more serious diseases. Sometimes after vomiting dogs can feel nauseous or weak, so I wouldn't be too concerned about Poochie not responding to his name unless he also seems disoriented or extremely lethargic. If the vomiting continues or he continues to act very abnormal you should see an emergency veterinarian. While it is probably okay to drink a little water I wouldn't encourage him to drink too much as this can sometimes trigger more vomiting.

I think you should go to the vet. Vomiting or absent appetite that lasts longer than 24 hours should be evaluated by a vet. The vet will do an examination and discus Jojo’s medical history to determine which diagnostics may be needed.

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Winnie. Yes, I recommend that she sees a veterinarian if she is still not eating and drinking. I worry that she will become dehydrated being such a small dog. Based on her exam findings, treatment can be recommended or diagnostics if necessary. For example, fluids can be given under the skin to rehydrate her and anti-nausea medication to control any further nausea and vomiting. I hope this information helps!
