Why is my dog suddenly circling before jumping? Is she in pain?

Why does my dog circle around our table before she jumps? She only started doing this recently. Pet's info: Dog | Miniature Poodle | Female | unspayed | 14 years old | 12 lbs

Rose may be looking for a good place to jump up, but she could be painful. I see she is an old dog, and arthritis is common in old dogs. The circling may be a sign of reluctance to jump. Have her seen by a vet for this.
