This sex toy may be causing an obstruction, which is fatal without treatment. Gator has to see a vet now. Please take him into an ER vet clinic; if there isn't one in your area, there will be a vet on call for emergencies. The information to reach that vet is found on a clinic's answering machine or website.

Poor Jack! I would be very concerned that this chew toy he ate is now causing a blockage leading to him vomiting. A GI blockage is fatal without treatment, so since you know he ate a chew toy, the best thing to do is take him into a vet immediately for a physical exam and x-rays. If the chew toy is causing a blockage, it will need to be removed surgically. Please take him into an ER vet clinic; if there isn't one in your area, there will be a vet on call for emergencies. She ate part of a rubber toy. She did vomit some pieces of it, but I’m afraid there may be more. She did eat this a.m., but vomited food this afternoon. Anything I can do, we have no emergency vets in this area.
Poor Koda. I am concerned as well that there are parts of the toy still in her, and that's causing the vomiting. If there isn't an ER vet in your area, there will be a vet on call for emergencies. My dog threw up some of his stuffed toy he ate and now wont eat...he doesnt tense or show discomfort around the belly but doesnt want to eat...he shows signs of wanting to play and get bellyrubs but hasn't eaten in 24 hrs...he has drinken some water

Vomiting and inappetence can occur from many conditions such as foreign body ingestion and obstruction, pancreatitis, gastroenteritis, dietary indiscretion, among other possibilities. I am concerned that he could be showing signs of an obstruction which is something that requires therapy which sometimes includes surgery. I recommend that you have Jager evaluated by a veterinarian at this point for further assessment and treatment. This will likely require bloodwork and abdominal imaging in terms of diagnostics. Treatment would be based on findings. At the very least your veterinarian could start him on medications to make him feel better. In the meantime, keep water available at all times to try to prevent dehydration. Good luck and have a good night!

My dog is a known swallower of objects and toys. He was at the vet in December for a small blockage which didn't require treatment. we took him in because one morning he pooped himself laying down and then acted drunk. The vet saw a small blockage. N
Sadly it is very possible that Onyx has a partial obstruction in the upper GI tract from swallowing the soft toy. I am glad that he is acting normally, but the vomiting after eating is very concerning. I recommend having him examined by a veterinarian and likely having x-rays taken to look for signs of an obstruction in the GI tract. The sooner, the better, to prevent possible damage to the GI tract, dehydration or more serious complications. Onyx may need surgery or a scoping procedure to remove an obstruction.

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Hercules. If he has continued to vomit, he will need to see his veterinarian again. It is worrisome that he vomited despite giving him the Cerenia tablet. This is a strong medication designed to control nausea and vomiting. If the vomits through it, there is a chance of an obstruction in his stomach or intestines. He could have more of the toy still inside him. His veterinarian will likely recommend x-rays of his belly. I'm quite concerned that if Vinny has a habit of eating things he should not, if he did eat this toy, it's causing a blockage in his intestines. That would cause him to vomit, not eat, and not be able to poop. If he does have an intestinal blockage, that is a medical emergency as it is fatal without treatment. I cannot say he will be ok without seeing him in person, so the best thing for you to do is take him into a vet immediately to get checked out and have x-rays done. Please take him into a vet now. Poor Ashley! Diarrhea and vomiting could be caused by parasites, change in diet toxin ingestion, infectious diseases, blockage in the intestines caused by ingestion of a foreign body, or a mass/growth in the gastrointestinal tract. Based on what she threw up, I'm concerned that there may be more string/ toy stuffing causing a blockage in Ashley's gastrointestinal tract. It is important that you have Ashley seen by a veterinarian immediately to help determine the cause of the symptoms, as if there is a blockage it could be life threatening, and she may need surgery to resolve it. Your vet may want to check her bloodwork and take x-rays to help determine what is going on with Ashley and to start appropriate treatment.

You need to take Echo into a vet immediately. He could have an obstruction from this stuffing, and may need surgery to remove it. Leaving an obstruction untreated is fatal, which is why you need to get him into a vet now. Best of luck.

I hate to hear Liam is giving you a scare! The vomiting can be highly variable based upon where it is in the GI tract. Blockages in the stomach tend to result in vomiting very quickly after eating. The intestines are pretty long (like 26 feet) and so the further down it goes, the more delayed things can be. I advise to be worried about any vomiting, no matter how far after eating it occurs. Make sure to keep you vet up to date as they may want to see him again. Also watch for lethargy and decreased appetite-also let your vet known if this is seen. Hopefully he'll be fine!
