My kitten's paw is injured, limping, bleeding. Should I see a vet?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

My kittens hand was stepped on a week age. She has been limping. It has opened up, looks like there is stuff guzzing out, and blood. How can i treat her at home.

The foot is most likely fractured. You really need to have her examined by a vet. Oral antibiotics will likely be needed as it sounds infected. If left untreated the bones can become infected causing a very serious issue.
