My puppy ate his poop. Will he get sick? Does he need deworming again?

I believe my puppy digested his stool. I’m not sure when his last deworming session. He had fecal test in September which came back normal. Should I expect him to become ill due to this? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Male | unneutered | 10 months and 14 days old | 7 lbs

This is a common puppy behavior. If he does not have any intestinal parasites, he will be fine. However, if he currently has intestinal parasites, then he is reinfecting himself and this can make treatment difficult. You can try products that prevent dogs from doing this behavior. One in particular is called Forbid and can be purchased online. Other than that, it is training and doing your best to deter them from doing this behavior. I hope this helps!
