My dog has a fever, runny nose, watery eyes, and bad stool. What's wrong?

Pet's info: Dog | Golden Retriever | Female | 3 years and 2 months old | 57 lbs

Hi Experts. My Ghontu is ill from yesterday.. she is not eating much(she had some food though).She had a temperature of 103. Her stool is also not good from yesterday morning(attached are some pics). She is also lathergic. She is drinking water and also urinating normally(it seems). The main issue is she has a running nose and also her eyes are watery. What can possibly be the reason? I have contacted my vet. He suggested Clindapet and Econorm Tablets over phone. I feel worried for her.

Poor Ghontu. It looks like there may be blood in her stool, which could be caused by a sudden change in diet, eating something rotten, a foreign body, or something serious like hemorrhagic gastroenteritis. The fever, runny nose, lethargy, and watery eyes could be due to a respiratory infection. Have her seen by a vet today.

My dog (2yrs) has fever, is lethargic, seems weak , eye discharge, and has on again off again head tremors. Started 2 days ago. She is still eating and drinking. Any ideas as to what is causing this
Your dog could have an upper respiratory infection, a neurological condition, could have reacted badly to something she has come into contact with, such as a cleaner, she may have contracted something from contact with another dog, there are a number of possibilities. These symptoms are serious enough that she should be seen by your vet right away. They will do an exam, labwork, possibly x-rays, and based on these results, your vet will have a better idea what is wrong with her and how best to treat it.

It sounds as Ghontu is suffering from a gastrointestinal condition, possibly an infection. it could also be due to ingestion of a foreign body material. i would recommend taking her to the vet the first chance you get, she will need to be checked first, if the vet thinks it's a simple gastrointestinal infection she will need an anti vomiting injection, antibiotics and a special food for a few days in order to get better. if the vet thinks it is more serious she will need a blood test and possibly an ultrasound in order to find out what is wrong.

My dog isn't eating. All the vaccinations up to date. 4 days ago my dog started having high fever ranging from 103-105°F. On the 3rd day he started bleeding from one nostril. It was continuous in flow. We applied ice immediately and the bleeding stop
It could be Gus Gus has a foreign body, growth, or fungal infection in his nose causing the bleeding. A fever means that he could have an infection going on. He needs to see a vet now, as he sounds quite sick with all of his symptoms. Please take him into a vet immediately. Best of luck.

My 9week old Siberian husky has yellow snot running out of her nose and is constantly blowing from her nose. She also has runny poop. Should I be concerned?
It sounds like Stormy has an infection. I would recommend to take Stormy into the vet for an exam. The runny stool should be examined for worms and giardia and these treated if they are found. Puppies commonly get viruses and bacterial infections which should generally clear up with medications. I hope this helps!

My Pitbull puppy, four months of age suddenly developed a high temperature and extremely red watery eyes. He is also very weak but his appetite is normal and he is drinking water. I don't know if he just has a cold. Any advice?
A high fever and lethargy should be addressed by your veterinarian. In a puppy this young they will want to rule out disease processes such as the Parvovirus, and will likely want to obtain some blood work. While it could be a simple cold, typically these do not cause high fevers. Antibiotic therapy may be required if there is an infection.

My dog has a runny nose and has had Diarrhea for the last couple of days. He has had all of his vaccinations. What should I do?
Thanks for using Boop by Petco! Diarrhea can be observed with conditions such as colitis, gastroenteritis, dietary indiscretion, intestinal parasites, among many other possibilities. The runny nose may be due to something like an upper respiratory infection. I recommend that you have Cooper evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. They may choose to check for parasites and to start medications for diarrhea depending on the results. Good luck! Hoping for a speedy recovery!

These signs are compatible with a severe gastrointestinal infection.Unfortunately a check up would be the ideal solution as antibiotics may be needed to solve the possible infection and before clinical condition becomes critical. You can try to switch her diet to a more digestible one based on boiled chicken and rice but other than that a check up is really essential. My dog is very warm to touch he has a dry warm nose no worms in his poop he's not eating well
Hi, thanks for using Boop by Petco! Poor Biggie! I don't personally hold much stock in nose dryness/wetness or the temperature of the nose. To know if Biggie has a fever you need to take his temperature rectally with a digital thermometer. A fever in a dog is anything over 102.5 F. There are many causes for a poor appetite: Viral infection, foreign body, fever from infection or inflammation, intestinal parasites (the eggs are microscopic and can not be seen in the stool unless adult worms are passed), pain and many many other causes. Try taking Biggie's temperature. If he has a fever I recommend making an appointment today with your Vet. I hope this helps and I wish Biggie a speedy recovery!

My question is .... my dogs behavior has been weird for about 24 hrs. We were out side about a day and half ago and it was very warm about 89 degrees. When we came back in the house that even she was fine but the next day she could not keep her eyes
It does sound like Harley is feeling sick, and this lethargy could be caused by a systemic illness, infection, inflammation, or injury. The runny nose could be due to a respiratory infection or allergies, while her looking at her behind could be due to impacted anal sacs, pain, or intestinal worms. I do think it would be a good idea to have her seen by a vet tomorrow, and I don't feel you need to rush to the the vet tonight if she is eating and drinking. But definitely have her seen by a vet in the morning for a health check if she is still acting this way tomorrow.
