My budgie's bumpy cere is growing. What does this mean for her health?

My bungee has a large bumpy cere between her nostrils she is six years old and has had this since I got her at about a year old but it has grown slowly over the years what is this and is there any concern

Thanks for reaching out about your budgie. The cere can thicken with hormones and become tan and crust. but this is usually an older bird problem, not one that starts about a year old. A solitary mass could be an abscess, tumor or other and probably should be assessed by a veterinarian. Good luck.
