Why is my anxious dog suddenly growling and biting other dogs?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | American Bully | Female | spayed | 1 year and 1 month old | 47 lbs

Skye is the sweetest girl, is a tripod, she has always had bad anxiety, & gets really scared when other dogs or my own other 2 start barking. She’ll dart in the opposite direction. Twice in the last 3 mnths tho my other dog will start barking like crazy, & skye will go after her. Growling. It doesn’t sound aggressive. But one of those times she did bite my other dog. She caused no hard to her tho. Didnt draw blood or anythin& i could tell she wasn’t trying to hurt her. What could be causing this

Anxiety can lead to aggression, and it may be Skye's anxiety has gotten so great that she is now acting aggressive. I'd have her seen by a vet for this to discuss putting her on anti-anxiety medication.
