My cat's wound won't heal, he's sick and drooling. What should I do?

My cat has had this wound for weeks. It heals and he again goes out and get bitten. He has been to a vet who gave him cefim antibiotic syrup and some ointments. I've been giving him those but the wound is taking too long to heal plus he has soar throat and flue and soo much pain in the leg. He is also drooling. What should I do?

You've posted a few times, and I'm not sure what answer you are looking for, but the only one you are going to get is take Zakoota into a vet. That is your only option. You cannot give him any human pain medications, as many are toxic to cats and are fatal if given. Leaving him without veterinary treatment in this case is cruel to him. Take him into a vet now.

You need to take Lioncio into a vet immediately to have this treated. If the bite is pretty deep, I'd be very concerned about infection. Infections frequently occur from bites. This will also be painful him, and you cannot give him any OTC pain medications. Many of them are toxic to cats, and are fatal if given. He should have veterinary care now. Please take him into an ER vet clinic; if there isn't one in your area, there will be a vet on call for emergencies. The information to reach that vet is found on a clinic's answering machine or website. Best of luck.

Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do anymore at home for Ace because it's been over a month. This wound could be infected, and it's concerning that it keeps reopening bigger than before. He has to to see a vet for this, it may be infected and it likely does need to be closed by a vet for it to heal correctly. I can give you some resources that may help you afford a vet. You can see if your vet accepts payment plans, if there is a low cost clinic in your area, or you can apply for Care Credit online. There is also an organization called Red Rover that give grants for treatment of sick animals, and you can see if you qualify for one of their grants. Oh no, poor Naqusha! Unfortunately, by law it is illegal for the experts at Boop by Petco to prescribe any drug, including OTC drugs, without seeing the animal in person first. That's because doing so requires a veterinary client patient relationship which cannot be achieved via an internet forum. In addition, the experts cannot say for certain if a specific drug is safe for your cat. I would call around to find the closest vet in your country to take him into as he really does need veterinary treatment for it. You can gently clean the area with warm water and antiseptic soap, and I would put a bandage over it to keep it clean and dry. Do not allow Naqsha to go outside if he's allowed outside, and I would put an Ecollar on him to keep him from licking at it. I can give you a link on how to make one at home. This wound does look very uncomfortable and ideally a feeding tube and repeat surgery to remove further dead tissue would provide room for healing. Alternatively, oral antibiotics, medical grade honey on the wound and feeding a blended, high calorie soft food such as royal canin recovery may provide enough relief for him to heal it over time but will not work if he is unable to swallow either from pain or swelling in which case euthanasia is recommended

Poor guy. I would highly recommend taking him in to your vet for some bloodwork analysis. A cat that isn't eating is considered to be a serious thing, because cats are known to be masters at hiding illness, unless it is something serious going on. Drooling is a sign of nausea, which can be caused by just about every condition out there, so it is necessary to get some testing down to hopefully pinpoint the problem. I am not sure how deep the scrape on his nose is, but I would not consider it to be a factor in his current illness, especially if it is just a superficial wound that is not infected. If you cannot get him in right away you can try enticing him with some tuna and white rice or slightly warmed cans of baby food for now. But a vet visit is needed as soon as possible. I am sorry to hear about Kallu. A photo of the wounds may help us to better answer your question, but I would definitely recommend bringing Kallu to a veterinarian for examination as it sounds like his wounds are serious and may require sutures or bandaging, and most likely will require antibiotics as bite wounds introduce bacteria into the tissue and can become infected.

Unfortunately you cannot give him any human pain medications, as many are toxic to cats and are fatal if given. He really should see a vet first thing in the morning. That would is bad enough that it requires veterinary care in person, especially if it is painful and has been there for weeks. Your vet can examine, clean it, and prescribe medication for pain and antibiotics for infection to help it heal.

Cat was drooling bleeding a little from nose and tongue hard couldn't open his mouth. Now I notice he has two red spot on his tongue but is trying to eat. What should I do?
He needs to be seen by a veterinarian. He looks like he really doesn't feel well from the photo. The red spots on the tongue could be ulcerations (due to a toxin ingestion or kidney disease for example) or they could be cancer (very common in cats). This is not something you can fix at home. Please get him to a vet as soon as you can. Best wishes.
