Why does my senior cat have spreading neck lumps? Causes & treatment?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | American Shorthair | Female | spayed

My cat has lumps on her neck, it isn't bothering her but it is spreading and getting larger. I'm really worried, she is old (12-13, don't know her age). I can't afford a vet at the moment. I'm really worried. Causes and treatment?

This lump needs to be checked and analysed as there are many conditions and types of tumors that could look like that. take her to the vet, they will perform a fine needle aspiration on the growth and send it to the lab for analysis. when the result comes, the vet will advise what needs to be done according to the diagnosis.
