My baby cockatiel hurt its foot. Does it need a vet for a broken foot?

I don’t know what is wrong with my cockatiel, he hurt his foot. I don’t know how. He is only a few months old and his name is sunshine. The incident had to have happened in the past few hours. I don’t know if it is broken or if it is even worth going to the vet for. Pet's info: Bird | Cockatiel | Male | unneutered

Thanks for reaching out about Sunshine and including photos. It does appears as if there is a bruise on the foot. A veterinary visit is recommended to assess and determine the damage. Soft tissue trauma can improved with pain medications, but a fractures should be stabilized. Make an appointment with a veterinarian. Good luck.
