Should I worry about my male toy poodle puppy's penis appearance?

Thank you for the picture, it helps with my answer. It looks normal in the picture, I don't see any redness or other concerning signs. If Winnie is peeing normally, behaving normally, and not obsessively licking his penis, then I would not worry. I hope this helps!

Hi, thanks for using Boop by Petco! From your pictures that is actually normal . The tip of the prepuce can look like that because you can see the inside tissue of the prepuce. I would assume that you can see if better now since the hair has been removed. Unless he is uncomfortable and licking his penis I wouldn't take him in. I hope this helps!

An abnormal shape to the penis could indicate inflammation or a tumor. I can’t tell from the photo if Wilie’s penis looks abnormal or not. This is a situation where a veterinarian visit is the best option. I recommend to have Willie examined by the veterinarian to get a better idea of what is going on. If the doctor is worried about a tumor, he may need an amputation. I hope this helps and please feel free to post any additional questions.

The skin on the head of my male dogs penis is engorged with a clear-ish looking fluid. Its never looked like that what could be the problem?
Thanks for the question again and the pictures. From what I can see on the images the penis looks normal, possibly slightly swollen but overall normal. It does not look like there is excessive discharge or signs of infections. If the penis is able to retract normally inside the prepuce, I would not be worried about it.

Sounds weird - is it normal if my dog's penis is white? The tip is red, and I wouldn't have noticed accept he has recently had other issues (leaking urine, MRSA after neuter).
It's not a weird question! The dog's penis contains a bone called the os penis. This bone can give the penis a white color if the tissues are pulled tight on it. It's normal, and I wouldn't worry about it unless he's excessively licking at it, straining to urinate, or has blood in his urine :-)

Took my dog out to go to the bathroom well the second time he went poo his penis came out and it was white what would cause that
The penis on a male is very long, narrow and hard. It doesn't have much fleshy tissue as some expect. There actually is a bone in the male dog's penis called the os penis that can give it a whitish color if the tissues are pulled tight on it. I would not be overly concerned about this unless he is having trouble urinating, there is swelling present or he is licking the penis a lot.

Hello, I am sorry for your concerns about Boss. I do not think the tip is missing, but it does look like the end or the sheath or prepuce is red & swollen. Have you noticed Boss licking a lot in the area? He may have a mild staph infection that would respond very nicely either to oral or topical medication. Red mark came up on dogs lower penis seen in the picture today. What could it be
Thanks for using Boop by Petco! It is hard to know what this may be just based on these pictures as they are dark and blurry. This may be due to inflammation or irritation which may be just transient. However, if this is not transient, he should evaluated by a veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. My Italian greyhound puppy Is 14 weeks old. Second set of shots. He just had an unknown kind of accident. His tip of his penis is slightly red and swollen. However, he urinated, and shows no sign of pain or discomfort. Should I take him to the vet? I
Yes, I would recommend having him examine by a veterinarian so that the most appropriate diagnostic and treatment recommendations can be made. It is hard to say for sure from the blurry photo but it appears as though the tip of the penis is stuck out of the prepuce. It looks as though Oliver has paraphimosis (inability to completely retract the penis into the prepuce) and this can be caused by a number of things. It would be best to have the veterinarian take a look at this for the most appropriate treatment recommendations. I hope this helps guide you in the right direction. the tip of penis of my dog is bleeding what may cause it?
It could be he injured his penis, or the blood is a sign of infection. I don't see much blood in the picture, so I'd keep an eye on it for now. If the bleeding continues or increases, have him seen by a vet. Best of luck.

Saw some unusual little bumps on the end of our male golden retriever private bit. He is 1 and a half and it's worrying us.
Hello. From the pictures it looks like these could be normal variation in his anatomy as it isn't red or raised. If they are new they could be infection pockets that may burst. I would suggest keeping an eye on it, and if they get bigger, red, or any discharge occurs then I would have it seen by a vet. Good luck with him!
