My cat ate Italian dressing. Is it toxic if he's breathing heavy?

Hello my cat accidentally swiped a piece of lettuce off of my plate with Italian dressing on it, he has been eating his food but he is breathing a bit heavier now

This may cause a bit of stomach upset for Riley, which could be why he's breathing a bit heavier at the moment. Italian dressing does contain garlic and onion, both of which are toxic to cats, but he won't have consumed enough to cause any problems. I'd keep an eye on him for now. If he starts vomiting, has diarrhea, stops eating, stops drinking water, starts vomiting water, is very lethargic, and/or starts open mouth breathing, he needs to see a vet immediately.
