Pet's info: Dog | Pomeranian | Female | spayed | 1 year and 4 months old | 20 lbs
My 1 year old female has had diarrhea since Saturday night but she's still eating and drinking, playing everything else is normal. Color of poop is normal. I've been giving her canine diarrhea medicine. She's acting completely normal. Think she might have eaten something in yard like a bug. She's never had diarrhea before.

Hello, thank you for using PetCoach. There is a myriad of things that can cause diarrhea in dogs so sometimes knowing the underlying reason can be difficult. It sounds like you are handling the issue well at this stage since she is otherwise acting normally. The only thing I would recommend at this stage is to also start giving her a probiotic like Fortiflora. It will help to balance out the bacterial population in her GI tract. ( https://www.petco.com/shop/en/petcostore/product/purina-pro-plan-veterinary-supplement-fortiflora-canine-probiotic-powder-for-dogs-count-of-30-3348854 ) If the diarrhea continues to persist for another 5-7 days you should take her to your vet for an exam and fecal test to rule out underlying intestinal parasites that may be the cause. Hope this helps. Best wishes.
