My senior cat has an itchy rash with bumps on her belly. What to do?

Hi, my cat is an indoor cat. She is around 13 years old, but a couple of weeks ago I noticed a rash on her belly. Now it has bumps. She scratches it and licks it . She is still eating and pooping like normal .I'm not sure what it is. If anybody can help, please let me know. Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed | 5 lbs

Hello, thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. I really think you need to take Lady Bird to the vet for an exam. This skin infection looks pretty serious and she will most likely need antibiotics to clear it. Without having more history and examining her myself it is difficult to say what is actually causing this issue. There are many different skin conditions and unfortunately, many can look the same which is why a vet exam is really important.
