Found bloody mucus in dog stool, does not have much of an appetite, watery stool. She has been periodically puking up bile/foam. This has been going on around 2-3 days. Is this an emergency? Should I wait till her vet can see her (3 days) or rush her to the ER?

Poor Butter! Since this has been going on for 2-3 days now and she is also vomiting and not wanting to eat much, I would recommend taking her to the ER today to be seen, rather than waiting until next week. The ER doctor can do some diagnostic testing to help figure out what's going on (possibly blood work, x-rays, and/or a fecal exam for parasites) and get her started on appropriate treatment depending on what is found. At the very least, it sounds like she needs to be started on some supportive care and symptomatic treatment (for nausea, diarrhea, etc.) since dogs can become dangerously sick if they have symptoms like this for multiple days that are not resolving on their own.

Hi. Poor Minnie mouse. No, I would not recommend waiting till Monday with vomiting and blood in the stool. It would be best to get her in before then. Blood in the stool and vomiting can have a lot of potential causes. These can range from infection, parasites, eating something she shouldn't have, parvo virus, colitis, and much more. Your ER veterinarian will do a full exam and will most likely do some x-rays, bloodwork, and a fecal test. Good luck.
