My dog ate chocolate 26 hours ago and is now off food. Should I worry?

My 55lb Golden Retriever ate a chocolate brownie 26 hours ago, no signs of anything, but is off her food - should we be worried?

Hello. I am so sorry for your worries with Pip eating the brownie. Not knowing the size of the brownie, how much chocolate was in it, & if it was made with milk or dark chocolate, it is impossible to say if she received enough chocolate to be worrisome. Chocolate can cause vomiting & diarrhea, or, the sugar & fats in the brownie are causing her upset. At this point in time, just continue to watch her. If her appetite does not improve by tomorrow, it might be best to have your veterinarian check on her. Hopefully, all will be just fine by then.
