My betta fish is lethargic and is not eating...my betta fish that recently passed away from swim bladder disease had these exact same symptoms. How do I better his condition?

Thanks for reaching out about Richard. Anorexia and lethargy are general signs of illness. First, check water quality and fix any problems. Poor water quality can be a precursor to disease, but also will delay healing. Review diet as many nutrient degrade over short periods to time and can lead to deficiencies and disease. A veterinary visit is recommended to assess healthy and provide a diagnostic/treatment plan. Radiographs are generally needed to determine swim bladder disease and infection. Good luck.
