1. Should be around 18-20 pounds. 2. What kind of collar? Just a regular collar or a flea collar. If it's a regular collar, put it on for a few minutes a couple of times a day to get the puppy used to it, then increase the amount of time the puppy wears it.

He should be ideally around 6kgs. 2.3 kgs is underweight and should be ideally checked by your local veterinarian to determine if there is any underlying health problem impairing his growth rate. Hi, thanks for using Boop by Petco! I would be sure he is on a good quality large breed puppy food. I like Purina Proplan or the Royal Canin or Hill's Science diet puppy foods. Feed him more than the recommended amount on the bag. At 11 weeks old he should be seeing your Vet for vaccinations. Be sure he has had his stool tested for intestinal parasites and has been dewormed a few times. Parasites are a huge issues in all puppies. Good luck!

You can place one on him now for a few minutes to begin the acclimmation process. Gradually increase the amount of time he is wearing it. Make sure it is not too tight. No, it will not hinder his growth.

Hi! My labrdor puppy currently weights 10.2kg (22.5lbs) and she is nearly 4 months old. Is that healthy? What is the normal weight of a 4 month old lab? How big can i expect her to get as an adult? She eats quality food called Bewi dog.
She looks cute and healthy. She also looks to be more of a field type lab which can be smaller than the more English show type labs. I expect her to mature around 50 lbs. or a little larger. Some dogs grow more slowly but will still reach their full normal mature weight, just later than other dogs. I don’t like to over feed as they can get fat and grow too quickly causing some bone growth problems. Thanks for using Boop by Petco to help you care for Kala.

A Labrador puppy should be on a large breed puppy food until 15months. A starter food can be used from 2-8weeks as it can be easier to soften and can be fed slightly warm. Be sure to keep up to date with deworming medication and offer additional meals of scrambled egg, canned puppy food or boiled chicken to increase energy intake until stronger

My 7 month old lab is underweight. I guess he wont weigh more than 4 kg. I feed him pedigree. What else can I feed him?
Pedigree is fine, but you may want to feed multiple meals a Day to encourage weight gain. Has he seen a veterinarian yet? I assume you mean 7 weeks old. Not 7 Months. At this age he should start vaccinations and deworming with your veterinarian. They will likely also want to perform a fecal exam looking for other types of parasites. Good luck and I hope he does well.

Make sure Ruby is properly dewormed and feed her a high-quality large breed puppy food such as Royal Canin or Purina pro plan. Don’t be in a rush to put weight on her, she will gain it naturally. I hope this helps and please feel free to post any additional questions.

At four months of age, a puppy is typically about half the weight of their full grown weight. A female lab weighs between 25-32kg when fully grown, so if Kitu is 13kg at four months of age, this is a good weight. I hope this helps!

At 75days of age, she is old enough to just be on a high quality kibble puppy food. There are many great foods available out there. Avoid grain free unless its verified that she has an allergy to grain. If she seems "not as healthy," though, get her in to the vet for an exam. Hi there and thanks for posting on Boop by Petco! 3/8 of a cup twice daily for a growing labrador sounds a little under the calories he should be getting daily. He should be consuming closer to 2 cups of the royal canin maxi food daily. Chicken stew and rice are not good sources of nutrients for a growing dog and should not replace eating his regular puppy food and should be discontinued. Just feeding more of his puppy food will help him grow and put on healthy weight. Thanks again for posting!
