My puppy has a sore on his penis. Is it serious? What should I do?

My puppy of 6 months has a smooth sore on his penis just curious if this is normal or if I should be cautious about it

Hello and thank you for contacting Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. The sore at the tip of the penis is most likely a local infected hair follicle or a small abscess. A visit at your local vets is recommended as Mika will likely need a course of antibiotic in form of ointment or tablets. Your vet may have to first aspirate the sore with a needle to make the definite diagnosis.
