Pet's info: Dog | Staffordshire Bull Terrier | Male | unneutered | 40 lbs
Hi there, My girlfriend's mum has an 10 year old Staffy who is full of energy, he's very playful and has no bad habits, he's very well-trained for the most part. The issue we have is that the legal owner of the Staffy, my girlfriends mother, will not take him to a vet under any circumstances. Now recently, Paco the Staffy has been throwing up yellow bile (Not pleasant) the mess is usually small and not a strong odour. He drinks plenty, gets fed a decent sized homemade meal once a day.

Unfortunately, if you are not the owner of Paco, there isn't much you can do without permission. However, if Paco is very ill and you suspect he's being abused/neglected (by not providing veterinary care), you can try contacting local animal control authorities to see what can legally be done in your area (IE if you can bring him to the vet with permission, etc). Vomiting yellow can sometimes be a bile vomit which can happen if his stomach is getting too empty (especially if he's only fed one meal a day). Feeding several smaller meals throughout the day can sometimes help this. If he's vomiting a lot, it's worsening, or you're seeing other signs of illness, however, veterinary care is needed.
