My dog has a painless bump on her skin. Is it a blister or cyst?

Do you know what this bump is? She doesn’t seem bothered by it. I never see her licking it. I noticed it. It doesn’t seem to hurt. I just don’t know if it’s a antihistamine bump or a blister.

This could be a benign growth, a cyst, or it may be from a foreign body that has lodged in Luna's foot. I do think it's worth getting checked out by a vet, but it's not an emergency. Give her vet a call to see when you can get her in to get it examined. I hope this helps!

Thanks for using Boop by Petco! This lump could be something like an abscess for example. I think that is more likely than being a growth given her age though a growth cannot be completely ruled out. However, other things are possible. I recommend that you have Luna evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. If an abscess was noted, further local therapy with drainage and antibiotics would be recommended. Good luck and best wishes!

My mini schnauzer has what looks like a blister on her little toe. Doesn’t seem to be hurting her so what should I do
Thanks for using Boop by Petco! This could be a benign or malignant growth. This could even be a cyst or an infection site. There is no way of knowing what it is just based on its appearance. This is often differentiated by a test called a fine needle aspirate (FNA) which is a pain free, inexpensive and easy procedure which in most cases will help reach a diagnosis. Sometimes a biopsy is needed for a definitive diagnosis. I recommend that you have her evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. I am really hoping for something benign. There is this small blister looking bump on my dogs leg and I’m not sure what it is. It’s clear
I can see the small, raised, slightly red hairless lump on Hazel's paw in the photo. This may be a bug bite, localized skin infection, or a mass (which is less likely in younger dogs). I recommend having the area examined by a vet to determine the underlying cause and begin the appropriate treatment. In the meantime, you can get Hazel an E-collar or "cone" to prevent her licking the area and causing further trauma and irritation.

It could be a cyst. It could also be a result or a foreign body such as a splinter or grass awn. Unless he he very painful or lethargic. It probably isn't an emergency. Of course, the sooner treatment is started, the sooner he will heal up. Keep the site clean and dry. Use an e-collar (cone) to prevent licking until he sees the vet.

My dog had a bump inside her leg. It looks like a blister but has been there for a few weeks. It doesn't seem to bother her but I can't tell if it has gotten larger.
This bump on Aspen's leg could be a cyst, a lipoma, a benign tumor, or a malignant tumor. Any suspicious bumps should be examined by the vet. The vet can perform a test called a fine needle aspirate on it. To do this, the vet sticks a small needle into the bump to get a sample of it's cells, and examines the cells on a slide under a microscope. It's usually painless to the animal, and relatively quick to perform. I would take Aspen into the vet tomorrow to have the bump examined and diagnosed so it can be treated.

I found a small white bump on my dogs pad. It doesn’t seem to hurt even when I touch it, I’m just wondering what it could be.
Hello. This looks like a small cyst, nothing too worrisome. It may pop & if it does, just clean the area with a good skin antiseptic like Hibiclens ( available at all pharmacies ). A warm compress or soaking the foot in warm water for 10 minutes 2-3 times per day may bring things to a head sooner, but this does not appear to be at all dangerous. Thanks for using Boop by Petco.

I'v noticed this bump on his toe. It doesn't seem to bother him at all, even when I touch it. Any idea on what it is or how to get rid of it?
That looks like an infection. It could be bacterial, mites, allergies, a foreign body in the skin or yeast infection. At home you can wash it daily with an antibacterial soap (rinse it well). Make sure he is not licking or scratching it (use an elizabethan collar if needed). If it is not getting better or if it is getting worse within a week, then take him into the vet for an exam. My dog has a small quarter size bump on her front paw and back paw. It’s hard no hair on it , white puss and blood. Should I worry
This sounds like an abscess or pocket of infection. She may have something in the paw that caused this or it may be from an injury. I recommend a veterinary exam and she will probably need antibiotics. They will check it to see if they can find the cause so it doesn’t happen again. This does not look like a tick - it is more likely to be a skin cyst, a skin growth or papilloma or tumor, or possibly a wound caused by a grass seed / foxtail. Your vet will be able to identify what exactly it is and recommend treatment if indicated.

My dog daisja has developed a bump on the outside lower corner of her eye. It's almost blistery looking.
This kind of lump/growth needs to be ideally assessed by your veterinarian to have a definitive and specific answer. Usually there are two ways your vet can do that a part from examining it directly during physical examination. A biopsy can be taken under local or general anesthetic, otherwise a smaller sample through a fine needle can be aspirated (this technique is called FNA= fine needle aspiration). Differentials include skin cysts, infections, benign or more sinister type of tumors.
