My guinea pig has crusty ears. What's wrong and what can I do?

My guinea pig has developed a crust inside and around her ear. I am trying to find out what I can do for it.

Poor Ginger, I see what you mean in the picture. This could be due to mites or it could be an ear infection. Without seeing her in person, I can't say for certain. I can say she does need to see a vet to have it diagnosed and treated, and I would take her into the vet in the morning to get this done. I hope this helps.
