Thank you for submitting your question regarding Rocky. I recommend that he sees a veterinarian. Blood in the urine or coming from the prepuce is always concerning in an older male dog. The veterinarian will examine him and likely collect a sterile urine sample, x-rays of his abdomen as well as blood work. These results will either give a diagnosis or guide further testing. For example, the blood could be due to a prostate infection, bladder stones, a mass in the bladder or even a bleeding disorder. A simple bladder infection is actually quite rare in a male dog. It is good that he is still happy and acting normal, but I do encourage you to have him seen. I hope this information helps!

I see that Hunter has not been neutered, so issues with his prostate (infection, inflammation, masses) would be my main concern. Other possible causes of the blood dripping from his penis include urinary tract infections, bladder stones or crystals in the urine. As long as he seems comfortable and is able to urinate normally, you should not need to rush to a vet tonight. However, Hunter should be examined by a vet tomorrow and will have his prostate examined via rectal exam. He will also likely need to have a urinalysis to rule out a UTI. From there the vet will be able to prescribe any necessary antibiotics or anti-inflammatory medications. I hope that all goes well!
