My dog won't eat, vomits, has diarrhea, but vet says he's fine.

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Male | neutered | 115 lbs

Got our dog back from our in laws after a few years and now he’s not eating. Vomiting and diarrhea. Took him to the vet and was told bloodwork and xrays look good. Received nausea and vomiting meds, he refuses to eat, but drinks water. Tried rice and chicken, raw bites, kibble, wet food, pumpkin purée, Vienna sausage...and he still refuses. Took him back to previous home to visit. Still nothing. Take him walking but he’s so weak from not eating. Any suggestions?

This is definitely not normal. If all he has was a simple gastroenteritis I would have expected him to be back to normal by now. I think he needs to go back to the vet for a follow-up x-ray to see if anything looks different. If it is inconclusive I would recommend a barium study be done so the vet can be 100% sure there is no obstruction and/or an abdominal ultrasound. If he did not have a specific test for pancreatitis (PLI) test I would have that done too. I don't think there is anything you can do at home for him without knowing what the underlying problem is.
