My pet ate an unknown blue capsule but seems fine. What now?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

I found an unknown blue liquidgel capsule cracked open on my floor. Approximately 1/6 was cracked and the remaining capsule which is otherwise entact is unrecognizable and doesn't resemble our aleve or nyquil capsules. We don't know if either of our dogs (10 years and 4 months) or cat (5 years) ate it or what might have happened. They all seem fine are playing and ate dinner and drank. Just concerned it could have pretty bad long term issues. We have a robovac and that could be what did it.

I'm not sure what pill it is, and if may be your pets didn't consume any of it, so I would just keep an eye on them for now. If you see vomiting, diarrhea, lethargy, or a loss of appetite, take them into a vet immediately. Best of luck.
